How we handle your data

What we collect

When you scan a business card, Nexio processes the image to extract contact details (name, phone, email, company, etc.). If you create an account for cloud sync, we store your email address and the contacts you save.

We do not collect browsing data, location data, or device identifiers for advertising.

How we use it

Your scanned contacts are stored to give you access across devices (if you opt into cloud sync). We use your email only to manage your account. That's it.

Who sees it

Nobody but you. We don't sell your contacts, share them with advertisers, or hand them to data brokers. Your contact data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Third-party services

We use Apple's infrastructure for in-app purchases and RevenueCat for subscription management. Card scanning uses on-device processing and secure API calls for AI extraction. No third party gets your raw contact data.

Data retention

Your data stays as long as you keep your account. Delete your account and everything goes with it. You can also delete individual contacts at any time.

Children

Nexio is not designed for children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything here, we'll update this page and note the date. For anything big, we'll notify you in the app.
